YWAM Programs & Trainings
Many YWAM programs combine theoretical teaching with practical application. These programs can range from short seminars or workshops lasting a few weeks to more in-depth training courses lasting three to nine months.
YWAM courses are often referred to as “schools.” For many students and participants, the experience is highly transformative—blending lectures, personal application, outreach, and community living into a holistic learning journey.
The mission of all our programs is to help participants grow in their character and deepen their relationship with God, while also empowering them to live out and represent the Kingdom of God wherever they are.
In recent years, we have also begun developing part-time and virtual training programs, making it possible for more people to participate and be equipped, no matter their location or current commitments.
Full-Time Live-in Training and Programs
YWAM’s full-time live-in training programs provide a unique and immersive experience where students and facilitators live together on the same compound—or in close proximity—during the lecture phase.
During the outreach phase, participants travel, serve, and minister together, putting into practice what they have learned.
These programs are ideal for those who feel called to step away from their daily routines and dedicate a season to deepening their relationship with God.

Below are some of our full-time live-in programs.
The YWAM DTS
The YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) in St. Lucia is a five month (often Jan to June) full time live-in program. It offers a unique time in your life to focus on who God made you to be and what He wants you to do before moving on. You will deepen your relationship with God and experience serving in different ways! A perfect gap year program for those in need of one!
During our Bible focused DTS Students are challenged to read and complete the Bible by the end of the program.
Summer Adventures
Every year between mid July and early August The YWAM Saint Lucia Summer Mission Adventure is on. It is a time for Training, Recreation, and Service that is designed for teens and young adults between 13 and 25 years old. This is one or two weeks to deepen your relationship with God and to grow in serving others. Youth meet their peer groups from various cultures. Ferry traveling to nearby islands is often considered. Every year we also have a few people over 25, if this is you, we can discuss how to better integrate you.
Part-Time Trainings & Programs
YWAM St. Lucia now offers part-time training programs designed for those who don’t want a busy schedule to prevent them from deepening their relationship with God.
These programs are ideal for individuals who feel a calling in their hearts to serve, grow, and be a blessing beyond their four walls, while still managing their daily responsibilities.

Inductive Bible Study
In our commitment to know more about God everyday we challenge believers to read and study the whole bible, book by book. We hold a weekly Bible study at the YWAM base using the inductive approach to systematically, Read, Observe, Interpret, and apply the Bible to our lives: Personal, Family, Community and Nations.
This is done through an interactive question and answer exercise; every one is invited. The sessions are now available online Via a virtual zoom platform.

We are studying the Bible book by book
MDTS Level 1
Mini or Mission & Discipleship Training School - Level 1
This part-time course offers half of the content of a standard DTS, delivered through a 150-hour schedule over six months, averaging about 6 hours per week.
Would you love to experience a YWAM DTS but don’t yet have the availability to commit to a full-time, live-in program? This course is designed just for you!
It provides a meaningful opportunity to grow in your faith, deepen your relationship with God, and experience the heart of DTS, all while balancing your current responsibilities.
MDTS Level 2
Mini or Mission & Discipleship Training School - Level 2
This part-time program is the natural continuation of the Level 1 course. It is designed for those who would like to experience more of the standard YWAM DTS content but are not currently able to commit to a full-time, live-in program.
The course covers additional topics not included in Level 1, providing a deeper and more complete understanding of the DTS experience.
This program requires approximately 150 hours over six months, averaging about 6 hours per week, making it accessible for those balancing work, ministry, or other responsibilities.
