"For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,Eternal Father, Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6
On at least two occasions, Abraham found it important to compensate for properties that had already been bestowed upon him. First, he formalized a treaty with Abimelech concerning the well in BeerSheba (Genesis 21:30-32), and second, he purchased land in Hebron for Sarah's burial (Genesis 23:12-20). Both instances occurred in the promised land, and, driven by his faith in God's promise, Abraham chose to invest in it. Embracing the act of investing in God's promises is a daily testament of faith we should uphold. If we truly believe in what God is conveying, we will not hesitate to invest and reinvest in it, regardless of the cost. if it is valuable to me it should be able to cost me something.
how we looked in 2024
With Kim from the YWAM Caribbeam office Visiting in November 2024
We hold great respect for those who came before us and, in many cases, nurtured numerous children, both physical and spiritual. These individuals are heroes deserving of our admiration, as it requires unwavering determination, patience, and consistency to raise children.
We are learning this every day as we learn to raise Asaph, who is evolving into an intelligent and faithful young man.
Both physical and spiritual children represent a magnificent promise from God—a treasure that is truly worth investing in.
Sometimes, as we walk with God, we may not always right away recognize the remarkable work He is doing behind the scenes. At any given moment here with YWAM Saint Lucia, we have been fortunate to have over 20 volunteers actively participating in various capacities.
Because of their part-time commitment, we often overlook the true value of their contributions. This December, we seized the opportunity to host a dinner for those who were available, offering our appreciation and blessings. Eighteen of us gathered for this occasion. Volunteers from the Summer program, Prayer Station, Kids and Youth Clubs, and other ministries came together to share a meal and celebrate God's blessings. Truly, God has an array of ways in which He works! Blessed be the Lord!
The challenges of Housing.
Due to our limited facility only one guest room it is getting increasingly difficult to offer hospitality to volunteers applying to join us short term. please pray that we will get a larger facility soon
We recently hosted our annual Christmas Cookie Treat for service men and women, and it was a great success. We had the opportunity to visit the Gros Islet Fire Station and Police Station, where our children distributed cookies and expressed their gratitude to the officers for their dedication to the community. They recited a heartfelt poem and offered prayers for those on duty. Next, we visited the children’s home, where we sang Christmas carols and shared cookies with the kids. To cap off the evening, we held our Kids Club Christmas Party. Thanks to the generous contributions of some amazing friends who donated funds, food, and ice cream, the children enjoyed plenty to eat and had a blast dancing and playing. Most importantly, they had the chance to hear from one of the CEF leaders, who shared the story of Christmas through pictures, a Bible verse, and song!
The resumption of our regular prayer station on Friday afternoons in Castries has been made possible thanks to the support of some dedicated local volunteers. We are grateful to God for the new volunteers who are faithfully joining us in this ministry. Many people are being reached with the word of God.

More and more we are realizing the need to have a transit home where we can meet regularly with the boys who leave the Juvenile Centre and are interested by our help in intensive discipleship, or mentoring as they learn or perfect a life skill, etc.
Our hearts are breaking to see right before our eyes some of those same boys who spent years in the centre, who we got opportunity to speak some truth into them, released and they go right back into their former lives sometimes because of lack of opportunity of transition in discipleship and coaching/ mentoring. Please pray with us for the funds to see a YWAM skills training centre come into being!!!
Kids Club children take a ride for the 1st time in the new bus
From the last Summer Missions Adventure in July/August we saw the need to help train and disciple the youth. Since then we introduced them to a discipleship course which they have been working on and we meet online to discuss what they read and to answer questions they may have with regards to what they read.
Once a month we meet in person to do a fun activity and also to talk about the course. They really look forward to the outings!

Thank you for everyone who support us. We truly appreciate your commitment, you are a vital part of our journey as we strive To Know God and to Make Him Known.
