The year 2024 just came and already we are at the end of February ...
"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you."
Psalm 143:8a
After returning from our Fall break, where we visited friends in Illinois, we stepped right back into our regular day-to-day routine. From catching up on Asaph's homeschooling to attending a birthday celebration to resuming the ministry work post-trip. Marylin have reconnect with the kid's parent to weekly activities while Guy is busy helping Asaph catch up on the time missed during our last trip; this is especially important in light of the potential busy schedule ahead with the YWAM Caribbean gathering in May and the busy Summer activities ahead.

Juvenal ministry
We are grateful for the opportunity to be able to serve God on this side of the globe. There is so much happening in the world all around us giving us more and more reason to work to bring in a greater harvest of souls for the Kingdom while we have breath in us. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Jesus admonishes us to pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out more laborers into His harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38)
For the New Year we welcomed a missionary couple from Swizerland for a month: Denis and Solange who helped us transition into 2024 assisted us in almost everything around the campus from maintenance to ministering the word in the streets of the city.

Saturday Session and activities
We have resumed the sessions with the children and youth and have started working with them to teach drama. This year we want to train and equip them with tools to be able to reach out to other children and youth like themselves as a form of outreach bringing a message of hope to those who are hopeless and in pain.
They also learn how to make some small basket into what some fruits were place to show appreciation to the elderly in one of the senior home.
The ministry at the center is ongoing as we are committed to being there for the boys every Sunday afternoon. Our presence is becoming more familiar to them, and they are beginning to trust us. It's clear to us that they are in need of positive parental role models, and we are grateful for the opportunities to help somehow fulfill that role in their lives. show them the love of God.
We are continuing to seek God's guidance on how we can support and assist those who leave the center at 18 years old. Our deepest desire is to establish a place where we can welcome them a few times a week, providing mentorship and transition, teaching life skills to help them integrate into society as responsible young men. Please join us in praying for the realization of this vision.

- We praise God for the more than US$ 20K that we so far have toward our ministry van thanks to your generous and selfless donations. It is not yet enough to get exactly what we needed but will be updating you soon on the news on the subject. In the mean time donations are still welcome.
- Praised God for the Christmas cookies treat that went on well in December and the new volunteers and teams He continues to direct to our base.
We are praying for a 14 seater mini bus similar to this or better
We are thankful for those of you who have started sowing in the Mini Bus project, we continue to Trust God for complete provision of the many thousands still needed; feel free to sow in this project.
Please join us in prayer and support as we prepare for upcoming ministry endeavors:
- The teams that have applied to visit the Island for ministry through out the year; that we will have the right accommodation at the right cost.
- The prayer Luncheon in May 2024, that all the tickets will be sold and that persons will show up and participate.
- The summer Program we have a large team planing to join and we need a proper accommodation. Please pray for the accommodation for the program but for a facility soon for the ministry.
-Travel plans for 2024; Listed below are the key events and we are trusting the Lord to provide for:
1. YWAM Caribbean Staff Gathering + Legacy Tour with Co-Founder Darlene Cunningham in Orlando, FL, USA - April 18-23, 2024.
2- local church mission trip to Brazil in summer
- That the mini bus/ van project will be finalized soon either with extra donation to get the minibus or get what we can with the funds available.
- As you can see the prayers for the provision of a permanent facility dedicated to the ministry of YWAM St. Lucia remain high on the needs list.
- We believe that God can go so far as to not only inspire donations towards the vehicle or property but also inspire someone to offer what they have available for 'His work'. noting is impossible to God.
Thank you for being a vital part of our journey. We appreciate your ongoing support and commitment whether through your prayers, finances. May God pour out His abundant blessings upon you and your loved ones in 2024 and beyond.
