For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:15-16
Currently, we find ourselves in Illinois, cherishing the opportunity to spend time with dear friends. Our hearts overflow with gratitude towards God for allowing us to visit this setting, where we can immerse ourselves in the captivating allure of the autumn season. Moreover, we are privileged to have the chance to share our experiences and mission with various believers, shedding light on the ministry we are engaged in the Caribbean and with YWAM St Lucia.
We are thankful for the friends and the families who made this possible;
and are hoping to make the most out of it with the grace of God.
We give God thanks for the grace to be able to continue the ministry here in St Lucia. The ministry at the Detention Center continues and we are thankful to God for the faithful volunteers who continue to work alongside us there. Two of the boys from the Centre turned 18 and have left. We don’t have as much access to them as before. Our heart’s desire would be that we could be able to receive them and continue to mentor them while they transition, learning a trade, etc.... Please pray with us to see this come to pass - a skills training centre. In the meantime we will continue to reach out to them as much as possible.

Josiah one of our kids club youth who is also Marylin’s nephew passed away in the month of August. He had been a part of the kids club from its inception… What a sad day it was when we heard the news that 15 year old Josiah had succumb to Sickle Cell Anemia.
The passing of this teen hit the other children very hard and we tried our best to help them go through the stages of grief as they learn the reality of life and death.
Every Summer we normally have a special program for Youth ages 14 to 29. This Year we paused our regular
Summer Mission Adventures
program to join and assist with The Youth Mission Training Camp organized by PAWI. Youth from 5 different Caribbean islands came together in St Lucia to be part of this camp organized by the Pentecostal Assemblies Of The West Indies. We had the opportunity to share and speak into the lives of the young people. Some had never understood missions before.
This was a great opportunity to learn and develop partnership with the local church and explore different way of doing missions.
Christmas Cookies Treat - each year, the kids club eagerly engages in the delightful activities of baking, decorating, and packaging cookies. These scrumptious treats are then lovingly presented to the service men and women as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for their invaluable service to the community. The children thoroughly enjoy themselves, experiencing endless joy and laughter throughout the process. And as soon as they return, the much-anticipated Christmas party commences!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the various corporate citizens, friends, and businesses who generously contribute to the success of the Christmas cookies treat and the festive celebration. Your unwavering generosity is truly appreciated!
We express our gratitude for the dedicated local volunteers who generously offer their time to support our ministry. It fills us with encouragement to see that even during our absence, some of them have remained steadfast in their commitment to various ministries. We wholeheartedly praise God for their unwavering faithfulness!
